$$$ Lesson

At this point in your life, your Dad and I are trying to teach you and your brother about money. This was something we were never really taught and had to learn the hard way. So here are a few things we have learned the hard way, and we hope to make them second nature to you and Brendan:
1. Always spend LESS than you make
2. Save, Save, Save! Life is full of surprises and you need to be ready
3. Everything God gives you, give at least 10% back.
4. Every amount of money you are given, remember your 3 little piggy banks: Tithe, Save, Spend (in that order)

Also, remember that the Bible tells us in I Timothy 6:10 that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. So, do your best, be successful, but don't let money or success become what you LOVE most in life. Keep your heart open to God's direction. That is the only way you will truly prosper.
